Year 7 boys tennis

Congratulations to Charlie Davis, Lewis Pemble Ford, Alfie Edmonds, and Tyler Theobald who recently competed in tennis fixtures for Towers against The North school. We won 2 out of 4 singles games, and won one of two doubles games. This was a fantastic showcase for school sport with both schools playing some wonderful tennis. Well played, boys.

Kent Schools Athletics Championships:

Lily-Rose and Josh O’Brien took part in the Kent Schools Athletics Championships and were up against some tough competition. They both ran against athletes in the year above and should be incredibly proud of their achievements.

Violet Maxted finished 4th in the Junior Girls 200 metres final (winning her heat) with a personal best of 26.76 seconds . She also came 2nd in the Junior Girls long jump and will now go on to represent Kent in the Southeast inter counties Cunliffe Cup at Kingsmeadow (Kingston upon Thames). A huge congratulations on such an amazing achievement.

Faith White had an excellent 100m race and was up against some very stiff competition. A number of the people she ran against ran for Kent but she still managed to gain a new personal best of 13.79 seconds.
