Damian Green's Visit

Ashford’s MP, Damian Green, visited Towers School on 24th June to meet our Young Writers, Poet Laureates and Poetry by Heart students. He was given a reading of a poem by each Poet Laureate, he heard a collection of our published stories read by our Young Writers and he was given a performance from our Poetry by Heart students of the poem ‘May, 1915’ by Charlotte Mew. Mr. Green was blown away by the talent and expressed his desire for each student to continue writing and creating.
