Big STEM Challenge

Congratulations to Eva-May Stone and Haydn Smith (Y9) for being the overall winners of the Big STEM Challenge. The competition was open to students from the UK and beyond. Different schools took part in this competition, including the Invicta Grammar School. Eva-May and Haydn's project centred on designing and building energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly HGVs. The depth and breadth of their research project wowed the judges at Discovery Park. In addition, the accuracy and fluency with which they addressed the judges' questions could not be overemphasised. Aside from the considerable cash prize Eva-May and Haydn won, they'll spend a day on a flight simulator. Their outstanding performance is a huge achievement and has made us all very proud, #ProudToBeTowers.
