Curriculum

It’s been an exciting start to the academic year with all key stage 3 students taking part in our Classroom to 5K programme during their PE lessons. This has provided students with the opportunity to kick off the year leading healthy, active lifestyles. Students have been working at their own pace to build upon their health, wellbeing and fitness, whilst reaping the rewards of being active alongside their peers.

Enrichment

We are overjoyed to once again hear the PE corridors full of noise and excitement after school! Attendance for PE enrichment has skyrocketed and we are so pleased to see students being active and having the opportunity to interact with their peers outside of the curriculum. This term we have also been inundated with competitive fixtures against local and regional teams within both Football and Netball. We have been so impressed with the level of performance displayed by all of our school teams and look forward to another exciting term ahead!

6th Form Enrichment

We are pleased to see our 6th form sporting enrichment launch this term! All 6th form students now have the opportunity to use the sporting facilities during the school day including, our new Fitness Suite, 3G, Gymnasium, Sports Hall and Tennis Courts. We hope this wonderful opportunity will enable our students to remain active and lead a healthy active lifestyle as well as provide a platform for them to socialise and de-stress alongside their studies.
