Dr Frost Maths Update
With the Easter break just around the corner, we wanted to give you all an update on the progress that the students have made on Dr Frost Maths. Since we started back this academic year we have made some amazing progress on the website. We recently surpassed 1.1 million “school points” for this academic year, raising our global rank from around 130 to 75. This is a great achievement for everyone who has challenged themselves to practise their maths skills on the website, in addition to completing the work during the most recent lockdown. Some of this was completed during “live lessons” delivered by the Maths team and we enjoyed being able to give feedback on the exact questions that a student was stuck on. Below is a leaderboard showing the top ten students across the school, from the start of September until the end of last week (26th March).

Moving forward into Terms 5 & 6, homework will continue to be set on the Dr Frost Maths platform, enabling students to practise skills that have been learnt in the lessons, as well as covering previous topics. Should you have any questions or queries regarding the Dr Frost Maths platform, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Brooks (g.brooks@towers.school), or your child’s maths teacher, who will be happy to answer them or resolve any login issues that may arise while you child is trying to access the system.
