Jasmin Vardimon Company Alice in VR Wonderland Dance Experience

Year 12 & 13 BTEC Dance students visited Jasmin Vardimon Company pop up space in the Ashford Designer Outlet Centre. Students enjoyed playing with the 360 camera that was used to create the unique dance theatre work. Students entered a purpose built fantastical space entering the world of Alice - a multi sensory virtual reality experience. They used an Oculus 2 headset to watch the immersive 360-degree wonderland with 3D sound. Students were able to ask performers and JVC staff questions about the process and the dance work. VR in the dance world is very new, it is now touring around the country.
